Sheri Reimer
RMT, CIMT, CD(DONA)

Sheri is the owner and soul behind Spirited Soul Birth Services. She is a Registered Massage Therapist who specializes in therapeutic, prenatal and infant massage.  She is also a trained birth doula through a DONA International since May 2012, and has taken a few extra DONA approved courses (Inductions & Augmentations and Breastfeeding for doulas). She has recently refreshed her DONA course in 2018 and is currently a certified Birth Doula through DONA International.

She has been massaging pregnant mommas for the last 15 years, supporting women and their partners in birth for the last 8 years and in the fall of 2018 took her certification to be able to teach families how to massage their sweet babes!  She lives with her husband and their two children: an 9 year old feisty (passionate?!) daughter and a 4 year old spitfire (tazmanian?!) son as well as their dog and cat.
 

Sheri has been support in many different birth settings; from a home waterbirth, a hotel homebirth,  to hospital births (medicated and un-medicated) inductions and caesareans. She knows that all births and labours differ immensely and that all mothers/people have different needs.

Sheri believes in the power of being informed and educated throughout a pregnancy and she hopes to help empower women with their birth and journey into motherhood. Sheri feels that support prenatally, during childbirth and into motherhood can be one of the most important factors in how new parents feel about this most life changing experience! She believes that with the right support, love and care a woman can have a beautiful, memorable experience that she and her partner can cherish forever.
